Once the mixture is ready, you pour it into a mold and set it aside to cool and harden for at least 24 hours.





Home remedies for polish are even easier to make. In fact, you do not have to do anything but use baking soda to remove tarnish from silver, brass or gold. This home product is a mild abrasive that is naturally alkaline. You simply need to dip a cotton ball in water to make it moist add as much baking soda as necessary and rub the tarnished surface. Alternatively, you can dissolve baking soda in the sink or a large container and use it as a dip to clean larger objects.





Finished wood furniture can be polished with different effective home remedies. You simply need to add oil and vinegar in a proportion of three to one. Mix very well so that the mixture can become homogenous. Then dip a soft cloth in it and apply the polish by rubbing it gently on wooden surfaces to make them shine. Alternatively, you can melt one ounce of beeswax and add a cup of olive oil. This mixture works brilliantly too.





Vinegar is one of the best natural home remedies for cleaning products. You have to use it in a diluted form to get the best results. Simple mix equal amounts of vinegar and water well and you have a great cleaning agent. It is great for cleaning ceramic and hard plastic surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom. You can even use it to clean your cooker and fridge. Vinegar will remove dirt as well as odor. Its natural smell will evaporate shortly after application.





Freshly squeezed lemon juice is ideal for cleaning metal surfaces. Its acidic content is effective for removing soap scum and hard water deposits from kitchen sinks and showers. You can also use it to clean brass and copper. You can readily mix half a cup of lemon juice with one cup of olive oil to make a natural cleaning product for wooden surfaces. It removes stains and polishes furniture pieces and floors perfectly.
