Oregano is a really effective home remedy for toothache. You can make a paste by crushing some fresh oregano leaves using a mortar and pestle. Then you can apply the paste to the aching spot. Alternatively you can get oil made from oregano, dip a cotton ball in it and apply it to the tooth. You will get relief and your treatment will be aided as well. You can get relief from toothache by applying a mix of red pepper powder and salt to the painful area. Just mix equal amounts of both spices, take a pinch of the new powder and put it on your tooth. This home remedy for toothache can be used on children also, provided that the treatment is done no more than two to three times a day.
