You can prepare an effective mixture of oils to nurture your scalp and strengthen your hairs. It is extremely effective for brittle hair. You need almond oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil and olive oil. Put two teaspoons of each ingredient into a pan and put it over low heat. Mix the oils well. The mixture should be warm, but not hot and pre-boiling.

Dip your fingers in it and apply the oil onto your scalp using gentle massaging movements. Try not to put too much oil on. After application, wrap your hair in a dry soft towel and let it stay like this for 20 minutes. Then you can wash your hair with the standard shampoo you are using. Do this once a week to get the desired results.

The natural mild astringents are the best home remedies for oily hair. Apple cider vinegar is extremely effective for removing oil from the scalp and consequently from your hair. Simply rinse your hair with a quarter of a cup of this product, let it stay for a couple of minutes and wash away with water. You can do this once to two times a week for best results.

Alternatively, you can rely on lemon juice to treat oily hair. Since it is a stronger astringent you need to dilute it with water. Simply squeeze one lemon into a bowl and add a cup of water. Stir well and use the solution to rinse your hair. Washing it off afterwards is important. The course of treatment is the same as with vinegar.

Curd is one of the most effective home remedies for dandruff. You can buy ready curd or use a standard recipe to make it at home with milk and lemon juice. It is best if you leave the substance to ferment for a couple of days before you use it. Once it is ready, you can apply the curd on your scalp and hair using massaging movements. Wait for an hour and then wash off the substance. Curd will naturally remove dandruff and nurture the skin while removing the excess oil from it. It has an antibacterial effect as well.

Another effective home remedy for dandruff is the mixture of olive oil and ginger root. Add an equal number of teaspoons of olive oil and ginger powder and mix to make a paste. Apply on your scalp and hair for one hour and wash off. This remedy has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory action. It is ideal for removing dandruff and preventing it from forming.

Hair loss is more common in men, but it is an even more serious problem for women. There are some effective home remedies that can prevent the loss of more hairs and stimulate the growth of new ones. You need two tablespoons of honey, one tablespoon of powdered cinnamon, one teaspoon of garlic oil and three tablespoons of olive oil. Mix them to make a homogenous paste. Apply it on affected areas or on the entire scalp. Keep the mask for 20 minutes and then wash it off. Honey and olive oil nurture the skin while cinnamon has an anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effect that allows it to act as a natural cleanser. The antioxidants in garlic can stimulate hair growth.

You can also try using another mixture that is an effective remedy for baldness. Add one or two pieces of dried Indian gooseberry (amla) to one cup of coconut oil.
